On sunday, we got to Albert square around 10 to 2. Hoklen, lambat siut. Parking is terrible in the city centre. 5.20 GBP for 2 bloody hours. budus. anyways. so we ran to i dont know where, but we ran towards the crowd. and there were alot of posters by the road side, picked them up and disperse into the march. excited we were yesterday. then we lift the posters in our hands and start screaming "troops go out!!!" hahaha. funny. Later on, we joined this group. there were few ppl who lead the anti-war cry. so it was definitely better than having to scream alone. It ended around 2, with us back to Albert square. the thing is, Gordon Brown was somewhere near albert square, in a meeting. so since he's the next to become PM, that gives valid reason for the march to be held yesterday. We tried to stay there and listen to the 'talk of protest' but it rained so heavily. we went back straight. obviously we were soaking wet and cold.
the thing is u know, many locals joined the march. of course there were many of us, in tudung joining the protest. and the locals, they were very much excited as well. obviously, not everyone is the same.

No war! World peace!
liberate the middle-east!!
Intifada!Intifada!
listening to the anti-war speeches
i am glad i was lucky enough to have experienced this. Its not just about being there, and screaming.. but you know, it sort of like puts you back in reality. about the war in Iraq, in most muslim countries, the middle-east, palestine. And obviously we, the lucky ones, who can still eat proper food, go to school, shopping.. we should help them. kalau tak siapa lagi nak buat kan? plus, its good to see so many locals in the March.. Bukanla sume non-muslim jahat. they were the ones who went all out in the march. i know i wont get things like these in malaysia. We should not think about ourselves all the time. Ramai lagi yg sengsara and susah and mcm2.
okay.ciao.
