I don't know how to begin. The feelings inside me, it's beyond words. I'll try see if i can deliver it.
I was working today. Yes, i know it is a saturday. Many of you must be staying home, lazing around with your husband and kids and family and friends. Yeah. But i had to go to work. Every time i do the weekends shift, i will have to dispense methadone to patients i the ward. Yeah. Sometimes, no.. Most of the time they are HIV positive patients with co-infections usually tibi. I'll just make sure i put on the N95 and some gloves and i'm all set. Watch them drink.
Today, i went up to the ward. There was this guy, a patient i have known since maybe end of last year who's on methadone. Apparently he was transferred to the ward. My heart sort of like sank when i saw him. I felt like crying.
The first time i met him, he was this guy who was always angry when we were late to dispense methadone to him. He'd scream and harass you the moment you arrive. I gave him a piece of my mind. I remember him since then. You see, i don't get to do the same duty every month. So, couple of months pass, i had to again dispense methadone.
I was sad. His skin has definitely darkened. He's lost some weight and he was not the 'kecoh marah-marah' patient he was. I asked nurse. They just geleng their heads.
If that one time shocked me, this time its worse than before. I could see his breathing.. Heavy. And wheb he was about to drink the bloody syrup, he sort of like lost coordination. Maybe he couldnt see that well anymore. His skin, plagues on his arms and they are white whereas his skin has turned darker than before. He took sip by sip.. Oowh ya Allah.
Kesian tu bukanla kesian. Tapi the sight of him before and what he is now, menginsafkan.
Kalau orang lain tengok.. Sure geli. Honestly. Geli. He knows coz when i passed to him the bottle he was very cautious not to touch my hands. Lagi la hati ni berasa sayu. Mungkin kalau ada ustaz to help people like him before the pass on... Aiihh..
Ya Allah. Sungguh besar kuasa Allah. Semoga dibukakan pintu hati patient itu supaya kembali bertaubat.
What a day. I'm glad for that opportunity. Memang in life, we must pause and reflect.

Rrrrrrrandom
It's getting pretty late and i can't sleep just yet. Still waiting for these small people to slip into lala land. Abbas is but Hamza is still busy watching his Babytv vids on youtube. All the more i have to wait until he falls asleep because two days ago, he used my phone until the batteries ran flat. As a result to that, i was late for work. Huhuh..
*yawn*
To be honest really, I don't know what to write. So yeah. I think i'll stop writing and hug my two little boys.

Who's your neighbour?
Zaman sekarang ni, kita dah xkisahkan neighbour kita. Either we are too busy with our daily life or we just don't care. Let me tell you, when i was small we had good neighbours. Esp. The ones next door to us.
But as years passed, the kind neighbour moved out and new neighbours came in. The new neighbour was different. We thought they are just plain selfish and ignorant because whenever we are out, they'll park their cars infront of our house. That's the extent that they went.
Later it was our turn to move out. But it was more or less the same. And my little family unit also moved out into our own nest. But it's different entirely. I have amazingly kind and nice and helpful neighbours.
For and instance, last week husband was away for three days. Usually i'd just camp at my mom's but that didn't happen. Definitely. But i didnt tell my neighbour that the husbands not in. Until the last day husband was away, i received a text that morning. The text read 'Nadia, just to inform you Mr Tan and I will not be in tonight.'
I smiled. They are one kind neighbour. They are concerned about my kids and my safety. I told husband. He said syukur to Allah. Now thats what we do. Watch each others back.
Husband was out for futsal. Suddenly at around 9 pm he called and told that his car broke down. So he asked me to go 'rescue' him. I was hurrying when i guess the neighbour heard me. She came out and asked if i was going to my mom's. No i said. I'm going to check on the husband. Suddenly, she was saying, eh takpela we follow u. Nanti kids siapa nak jaga. Really i couldn't say no to their kindness. So yes mrs Tan came with me and the kids to check on dear husband.
Aih. Seriously. I could never aske for more. Your neighbour, they are the closest to you. Therefore we must maintain good relationship with our neighbours.
Moral of the story, you must want to know who your neighbours areans you must be kind to them. They will be kind to you.

Bride and Prejudice
First saw this movie in 2007. In the UK with my two sisters. It's the Bollywood version of pride and prejudice. hahaha.. We sort of like went crazy over it. So, last night my sister text us on Whatsapp saying 'yols and adek.. I am watching Bride and Prejudice! OMG.. memory!!'
aaargh.. I immediately called husband to get him to download the movie for me. I so miss watching it. especially with the sisters. The husband downloaded it for me. It took around 10-15 minutes for the download to complete. and then I was already watching it. segera tak segera. hahahahah.
Watch this video. I couldn't stop laughing watching it. hahahah..
and then u will want to download the whole movie. Having watch this a few times makes me miss my sisters so much. I so can't wait for Jeds to come home for Hari Raya.. In the meantimes, lets enjoy ourselves watching this and I, i want to reminisce those good memories we had back in 2007.

Green
Malas pun malas juga. But I believe we must try to preserve the Mother Nature. If not for us, for the future of our children.
Talking about Going Green [bukan turn green like the Incredible Hulk], I have started Abbas on Cloth Diapers. I honestly couldn't care much then, but when you have two kids, you know you'll be piling up disposable nappies. At least that was what i thought. So I Google about this Cloth Diaper thing and i found this. Truly, it has helped me in making the decision to at least start (if not switch) my son on Cloth Diapers.
So yeah. the webpage. I tell you, it's super duper helpful. You'll go from zero to hero after reading through whats written it it. Practically, it helps/guides parents on how to start using cloth diapers. I have seen some CDs before this and looked up for that particular brand on the net. But man, i got lost with the terms. It's rather funny u see, the terms AIO, AI2, pocket diapers, etc etc. and ended up not wanting to buy.
My first 3 CDs for Abbas were from Lunatots. Its an All-in-2 CD. Not cheap i tell you. But it was a-okay for a start. Honestly, i love the colours, the cutting but somehow rather, i just don't like using it. It's not easy to explain. Since i only have 3, i thought i wanted to try other brands. So, i bought 3 from bumgenuis. it's a pocket CD. It's way expensive than the Lunatots. But i honestly, i like this one better. BG doesn't have prints like other brands. It doesn't matter that much to me though. What's important is the performance of the product. ahaha. cam ape je kan. But seriously. I feel it's easier to use and i just love 'em.
Again, i have to stress here, they are not cheap. like really. So, yeah. I could only put Abbas on CD during weekends. Coz we only have 6 CDs. sorry. The poop u ask? It's not that difficult. the smell? aaah, come on. Don't tell me you can't stand the smell of your kid's poo. Disposable or not, u'll still have to go through that episode of 'tahan nafas' n 'cuci berak anak'. hahahhaha.. So, yes that is not an issue here By the way, i got a friend who happens to also started cloth diapering on her son. And she recommended me, this webpage. She operates through Facebook. And then, things just fall into place.
I was introduced to alot other brands but i am still sticking to BG (1st preference) and now trying out Charlie Banana. The best thing is, she offers really good prices. most of the time, they are all affordable. Now i am a happy mom. hahahaha. Abbas is still on disposable. But with the CD, he definitely use less disposable nappies and i am so looking forward to start him on CD completely. My CD stash is definitely increasing. Just bought 6, and another 4. Next is to convince the nursery to put Abbas on CD.
Preserving the mother nature is our responsibility. Although i am only taking baby steps, but this is for the better future of my children and the next generation.
I'll let you feast your eyes on my CD Stash.. ngehngehngeh..

Rehat
Sangatlah sibuk mengejar masa. Masuk pukul 740, balik pukul 540pm. Setiap hari.
Work is all that i have in mind. But, u know u gotta know when to slow down abit. Monday night, abbas came down with fever. Tuesday night, he didn't sleep throughout the night. But i still had to go to work the next day because of ADAF. I was supposed to leave after the colleague came back, but lets not go into that. at least just yet. Ngamuk mak kang!!
cool
So, yeah. last night Abbas was still very restless. I just had to take leave today because there's no way i' gonna push myself. I was slightly cranky yesterday, i was exhausted and i couldn't think straight. Thus, my day off today.
I still have tonnes to do but i'll just chill and relax and tend to Abbas.
Husband's coming home tonight. yeay!!
Abbas needs a shower. till then.
