Taman Negara Part II

on our way to Nusa Camp.as i said earlier,15 minutes away from Kuala Tahan jetty.the best part was,the scenery.totally mesmerizing and mind-relaxing.besides that,we were going against the current!and when sampai kat jeram..weeeeeeeeeeee!!it went all bumpy and we got wet sbb air masuk dlm boat!but best sangat!!really2 enjoyed it!at first it was quite scary.but then it became really fun.

this is the man who navigated the 'water bus' upstream!

that's the second 'water bus'.those in that boat were all soaked up,sbb kat jeram tu the navigator refused to slow down!hahahahahaha.

huanying!huanying!lai Nusa Camp!best!kesian tourist lain sbb we all ramai!tp sangat meriah.the food was really good.they served ikan sungai,e.g.ikan keli.of course it tasted so good!
the surrounding area at the camp is clean,neat and proper.not too fancy,but comfortable enough!

after we've settled our things etc,and after maghrib,at around 730p.m we in 3 groups went for a night walk.masukla hutan.tepi hutan.but it was different,because the guides know their stuff well.we stopped at a "mata air" and he asked us to tutup our torchlights.it was dark,but slowly nampak glitters of lights.fireflies.Amazing!pastuh,he even told us where we could find a female tarantula spider.cun kan?but obviously we had to keep our distance away from the pokok,coz tarantulas can jump up to a few meters.jauhkan?and definitely it can bite and kill.the walk took us i think a good 1hours 30 minutes.since we got back at the camp quite early,9 pm maybe,so we played games.best sangat!started off with 'goreng pisang' game.hahaha.fun!

we did 3 rounds of 'goreng pisang' and pastuh dah boring so,the camp people taught us all new games.which was even more fun than 'goreng pisang'.too bad,i misplaced my camera that day,so i didnt manage to take pictures of us all.but hey it was a lot of fun.the second game we played,mmg tricky habis.1,2,3,4,5,6,[name of an animal].so who fails to come up with an animal,kalah.best sangat.mcm2 nama animals keluar malam tuh.hahahahahaha.we had loads of fun!

we went to bed at around 12 plus.and all so excited for the next day.ok.so sambung next part.part III.ciao.

Taman Negara 2005 - Part I

30th September 2005,is a date to remember.We together with our 43 other classmates departed from campus to Kuala Tahan,to experience Taman Negara.it is actually 'camping sambil belajar' but,it is definitely not any other typical boresome the-sambil-belajar thing u know.infact it was the best of all class trips organized.we went in one bus and a van.blame those at p*&^%$%$.Anyways,we left Shah Alam around 12 something(noon la).the journey took us a good 6 hours of munching,sleeping(&snoring),menjerit2 and borak2(plus gossiping) to reach Kuala Tahan,our destination.but the journey was fun though.memang lah bonding session between us classmates sbb hari biasa,busy with our own life.so,we did lots of catching ups with the latest gossips etc..etc..hahaha.pakcik bus tu drive slow.tp,xpelah.biar lambat asal selamat.=).we reached Kuala Tahan at 6 and the guy or the guide were already there waiting for us.(sian,lama menanti.)=)

this pic down here is taken before we left campus.Al-maklumlah.janji bertolak kol 11.tp,it's actually an hour later.Aaaaah.biasalah tu.yang penting,by 11,i was already there together with a few others who quite understands the meaning of Punctuality.(muhahahahaha!)oklah.pagi tu ade class,habis lambat.hehe.i wont name my friends here,but my friends do look happy and excited and... excited!

Leeches?my girlfriends packed themselves with all kinds of insect repellent.obviously!i brought along a bottle of shieldtox.i'm not afraid of it but i'm so GELI with leeches!hahahaha.most probably,org lain pon geli jugak.biasalah.kdg2 takut jugak.but buat2 xtakut so that i wont get too paranoid if it got onto my skin.eeeuww!!

6p.m(the same day)upon arrival.........TADAAAAAA!!INI WILAYAH CELCOM!can u see that blue and white err..poster?banner?muhahahahah!how cool is that man?ade signal ok and full bar!sempatla nak give my mom a ring to tell her that we've reached Kuala Tahan safely in one piece.hehehe.by then we were all so excited and xsabar2 to ride the 'water bus'.hahaha.i did get a few shots before we "board" the water bus.cool!oh yes,the air there is so clean and fresh.xmcm kat kl.busuk!bau exhaust,carbon monoxide!(tarik nafas dalam2,and lepas.)aaaaaaaaaaah!bestnyer kat kuala Tahan.Biarla masuk ceruk mana,kampung orang,but u cant get anything like this in KL.obviously!

okay,so the first picture,on the upper left,i took it upon arrival.can u see the big smiles?most probably not.but u can tell that these friends of mine are all soo ready! to enjoy our weekends in Taman Negara.the second pic on the upper right is the view from the bank.u see,in KL it rained alot.but actually,it didnt rain that much in this part of the country,thus the water level dropped.i almost forgot,KL ujan through cloud seeding.haha.look at the pic again.THAT! is the water bus that i mentioned earlier.cool,kan?and then, that's the current jetty.my lecturer tgh kira org to board the first 'water bus'.i was amongst the first 13 lucky passengers!yeeeehaaaa!Nusa Camp!Here we come!

Nusa Camp?that's where we were heading to.the place where we stayed.best ok.the journey from Kuala Tahan to our camp is only 15 minutes.it would've been hours of we were from Kuala Tembeling.the 'old' jetty.so,we did save a few hours.but missed a few hours of boat rides.xkisahlah.it was fun & scary at the same time!tp best! enjoy the rest of the pics.i'll continue with part II later.

Cobra 2005

9th September 2005, we went to KJ stadium to watch the most-anticipated-for rugby tournament COBRA. well, unfortunately, i only had to watch the school kids play. there were i think 10 selected teams all together. i only remembered a few, SESMA, SAS, BROADWATERS from England, one from Sarawak, another one from Singapore, and a few more which i can hardly remember. lastly, COBRA Jr. team. Anyways, the day was bright and fine and it gets very hot at noon. i did get a few shots on the boys on the field.final results, champion goes to COBRA, second place SESMA.ni for teams below 18.the 'in' thing is teams org dewasa. COBRA,newzealand,australia,fiji (these are rugby clubs la.ala sume org pon tau kan?)and there were also NS wanderers,etc etc.He went.i didnt.but i still enjoyed the games that i watched.

anyways,i enjoyed taking the pics and enjoyed watching the game. this is my first time though but i've watched rugby games back in campus.all in all,it was an enjoyable and memorable day.
