Alhamdulillah, husband has a new birthday-mate. It was a double celebration indeed. My eldest sister gave birth to a big and healthy baby boy via c-sect. He weighed 3.3kg. and he's just as cute as all my anak-anak sedara. On the 7th day, sister had a small get together at their house in cardiff for Majlis Bertahnik and cukur jambul as well as to announce the name of their new baby. The name is Ameer Muadz bin Mohd Imran. Alhamdulillah.

Gerak

2 days back, i was throwing out blood.. it was a very painful one. it felt like the whole GIT was coming out. Then, it was already sore throat. Husband insisted that i go see the GP. i refused. Okay lagi.. But, the next day turned out to be worse. i didnt actually vom.. But, i was all dizzy the whole day. i came to work late coz i couldnt handle the dizziness. it became worse when i thought i felt better. So, i spent my day in the surau, sleeping. kesian my assistant. She's a pregnant lady as well.. and baby is due in 6 weeks. but, she's been one of my heroine at work. thanks babe..

That very evening, i vom again.. when i was having shower. Husband came running, trying to help me. he looked anguish and a bit angry. Go get ready. we're going to see ur OB. u're so not going to work tomorrow. i couldnt say much as i was already weak after the vom episode. Doc gave me two-days rest. and she did another scan for me. So far, alhamdulillah. My baby is growing well inside of me. Baby was 24.5 mm 2 weeks ago. and yesterday, baby is already 49.9 mm.

i am indeed very happy to see my baby. and i could see baby moving (its actually baby's reflects, coz baby ia not yet in control of its own movement) and i am all grateful to Allah. Husband was all excited. as always. And today, since i was in bed the whole day, i tried to focus on my tummy for any signs of movement thats not mine u see. And i can see that my tummy actually flutters when i hold my breath. huhuhuhu! And and.. i thought, why not give a bit pressure on it, incase if i can feel my baby's heartbeat.. And... ahahahaha.. i was laughing my heart out! indeed, i can feel my baby's heatbeat. its very faint. but, its there.. I told husband right away.. he didnt believe me, but i taught him how, and there was definitely a big grin on his way.. "ni baby babah".. aaaww..

Alhamdulillah. anyways.. i still feel bad for not being able to go to work. i am okay most of the days.. but there are some days that the N and V are really bad.. but the truth is, i am mostly grateful for having a husband who supports me, and friends who's always there for me when i am in need. colleagues i mean.. M and I, u know who u are. Khamis, when i am alot better( i hope i will be alot better) kita makan jambu cicah sos rojak buah k?? i love u guys to bits..

Updates updates

Hi..
i am back from the long silence. Lets just hope i won't disappear again..hihi.. But really, i was away because i was really unwell. Yes, i am 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant. And the hormones are not doing justice to my tummy. infact, i have just.. you know.. emptied my stomach awhile ago! (sakit tekak ku).. I guess, this is what being a mommy is about. It requires a high level of patience. Baru pregnant. Belom anak lagi. Nevertheless, husband has been very-very helpful. Alhamdulillah. I am grateful.

I wanted to update about our raya korban in terengganu. That's my first really. Dahla banjir!! But, i am just too lazy to upload the pics, and just too lazy to write about it. I guess, it'll just be a memory for me only. Owh, my in-laws are excited over our pregnancy. 'Anak Joe' la katakan. heheh. I hope my pregnancy will go well, without much complications.. InsyaAllah. Owh, our baby will be the third cucu for my parents, this year.. year 2009. Plus, my cute little niece, anfaal. So, my parents are getting 4 cucus in just two years. Alhamdulillah. My in laws are getting 1 cucu every year. hehe. baby is due in July. So that makes our baby, our anniversary baby. heheh.

Work u ask? My satelite has successfully started operation since 15th december. Horror!! You can never imagine the amount of drugs supplied to the ICU only. I have to stock-up the items twice a week! Worse, the drug usage pattern is so unpredictable. So, with the very limited space that i have, i just had to squeeze as many drugs as i can. be it in small amount/big amount. Haih. Thanks to my colleague, M*l.. u know who u are, for always helping me out at my new workstation. Kalau ko xde, haih.. pengsan aku okay!! and i really appreciate it. That gives me the luxury to relax Alot! and gossip alittle (maybe alot!!) whenever she's around. I am also grateful to have a very efficient, kind, and super-organized assistant. Aaaahh.. they make my day when i am about to turn into a green monster! huhu..

its 2009 & 1430 Hijrah already.. How time flies.. A lot of things happened in 2008. I feel so blessed. Alhamdulillah. Anyways.. walaupon dilanda morning sickness yang agak teruk semalam dan kelmarin.. huhuhuhu.. tapi, i tetap bersyukur. oklah.. malas nak bebel longer..

Driver bodo

Last night, i felt like having tomyam for dinner. I couldnt stand the smell of sardine n egg. it kills my appetite and makes me want to throw up! So, tomyam we had for dinner. At first we were thinking of going to the bank after dinner, but because I couldnt handle the nausea, husband decided that we go home, right away. But the worse has yet to happen. I didnt puke okay people.. but someone, so irresponsible changed our mood last night. Meh, nak cerita.

If you have ever been to Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara.. u can imagine how congested the place can be at night. The place will be swarmed with people, hungry & satiated people, that is cause there are just too many kopitiams n restaurants. serious! And, semestinya, terlampau banyak kereta! The thing is, this is the time when a person is at his/her most inconsiderate behaviour i tell you. We wouldnt mind making a few rounds to find a proper parking lot, but for many, they would rather DOUBLE PARK, right infront the shop and then eat HAPPILY. Bangang mana tah belajar park macam nih! when the car they double park wants to leave, they will honk hard to call the stupid owner. Aku cakap ni, Melayu, India, Cina. same saje! Thats how inconsiderate Malaysian Drivers are! Smalam, my husband had to reverse 3 times because this guy, in a Kembara REFUSED!!! i repeat! refused to park his car in a proper parking lot and double park instead because we think that he is TOO lazy to press on the paddle, reverse, accelerate. and break. only to get a stare from husband, and i tell you its not nice to stare at other people, but isnt it obvious enough they are soo incosiderate.

Well, i am not quite done yet.. You all tau la, 2 way street, kan? pastu dgn beruk2 yang double park lagi.. making it quite difficult for two cars to pass, side by side. and Giant KD pulak dah bukak. Traffic coming from giant pon banyak. so, dah la dgn jalan sempit sbb beruk2 double park, plus the oncoming traffic from giant lagi. So, Traffic was slow. Tapi, what annoyed us was, this young lady driver, Suka hati atok dia, nak potong our car. Kereta depan break to slow down, and so we had too slow down. suddenly, ko tau dia HON kitorg sekuat mungkin! Celaka betina ni. Husband Hon la dia balek. nak laju pegi mana kan? so, dia squeeze balek behind us. lepas keluar junction, die rempit la. sempat la aku maki one round. dia stare balek. AAAiiiihhh.. memang nak mampos pempuan bangang nih. Guess what i did??!

Ye.. i asked husband to follow her. What?! ko ingat aku xleh harrass you?! Dia tekan minyak nak mampos, cilok kiri, cilok kanan. we followed her to a shell station in KD. Cuak okay minah tu. Her friend was waiting for US i presume.

Friend: Ini ada apa?
Husband: U punya kawan kurang ajar bawak kereta. Mau potong xlepas marah orang lain. Kalau nak cepat sangat, u pasang la emergency light! Itu jalan sempit maaa.. considerate la sikit kan? suma orang mau balek rumah ma..
Friend: So? xda apa rosak kan? jadi, xda kes la..
Aku: Hello! memang la xda rosak. Tapi, lain kali, drive pikir orang lain juga. Jangan ingat ini jalan bapak punya!
Friend: Eyh, biar sorang cakap sudah la

Husband: Saya xnak cari gaduh. Tapi sakit hati ma! apa hon hon?! dia pandai sangat ka bawak laju2 tempat macam itu?
Friend: okla. saya minta maaf la untuk dia
Husband & aku: Buat apa u minta maaf!
Husband: saya mau dia yang minta maaf. Sekarang tau takut.Tadi masa drive xda pikir?
Friend: ok la ok la bro. Minta maaf la..
Husband: Lu cakap dgn dia, jangan kurang ajar sangat bawak kereta..

we left shell. Hati aku panas mcm nak meletop. Sian anak aku ni. Aku bukan kisah pon dia nak memotong. Tapi tolong la jangan la rajin nak bunyi kan HON tu. Itu adalah satu insult kepada orang lain. And please la be considerate when driving. Bukan dia sorang je drive. Orang lain pon drive juga kan? Jadi, if ada queue, line up la. Kalau slow, jangan la mencucuk. Malaysians ni, aku xtau la nak kata apa.. yang selfish tu selfish benar. Macam aku pegi kedai beli sayur2. Ada satu couple ni, penat dia hon, suruh tuan punya kereta yg bodoh alihkan kereta. Upenya2, adalah satu pompuan yang beratur di cashier didepan haku! aku pon sakit hati tgk! aku bising la kat bro cashier tu. Aku kate, parking lot ada, xnak masuk. Yang paling aku sakit hati tu, bro tu balas ape?! "ala, xpela. dia nak beli barang" haiiiii kau satu lagi celaka. Heee.. TOLONGLA anda2 semua. Belajar tinggi2. tapi, jangan la buat perkara bodoh yang lagi self-centered macam ni.. Haih...

walaupon aku penah double park orang di DSH, tapi aku minta maaf dgn bersungguh-sungguh. sekurang-kurangnya, aku malu dgn tindakan aku yg bodoh itu. Tapi, kenapa manusia sekarang bebal bila melakukan perkara bodoh??!

he's away for a 4 day course in PD, since tuesday. hurmm.. Biasala, rindu mesti ada. heheh. but, will be joining him tomorrow. we're going to try Avillion PD. it is a bit on the expensive side. *prays hard, husband won't get angry! but i hope it'd be a good a night stay for both of us. Kitorang dah lama xholiday! kah kah kah. its only been close to 4 months. Alhamdulillah. I so cant wait to see you tomorrow!

Gotong-Royong?

We were supposed to move into my parents old house in Menjalara. That was our plan, then since husband works in Selayang when we got married. We didnt move in right away coz *although the house was ready for us to move in, we weren't sure where our 'penempatan tetap' would be. And, our instincts were correct. Husband was transferred to PJ. So, Menjalara immediately became irrelevant because the LDP morning traffic is just too horrifying. *been there, done that during my Uni days, and i can never imagine the amount of sumpah seranah, i had done. Hari2 suma orang kena sumpah. hahah.. And u know, husband HATES traffic jams! plus, i dont want him to leave the house too early in the morning. So, we decided to...... well, yes. settle at my parents house FIRST. TEMPORARILY! okay. Not going to be permanent. I promise. hahahahaha.

Since i've forked out a bloody 500 bucks just to clean-up the semak in the Menjalara house, i mean garden *tanam rumput carpet, and buang apa2 pokok2 yang patut, so i dont want to let it become semak for the second time. But we've never been to the house since September. Bila pergi, Allah. rumput dah tinggi betis!! and weeds were almost everywhere. Husband and i mowed the grass, cabut the weeds and cleared up the front part of the house. Gotong-royong. huhu. Penat. In the end, both of us have backpains and muscle pain. huhu. At least we can save the 500 bucks spent for the garden.

Oleh itu, I promise that i'll tend to the garden more often! at least once a fortnight. *harap2 bukan hangat-hangat tahi ayam sudah. huhuhuhu..

Hormonal Rage

Yes.. as of now, i am a mad tigress.. aaaargh.. bukan macam budak kecik cute itu ye.. It's like, i get angry over every single thing that ticks me off! syaitan.. syaitan.. and i get so stressed out! I know this is just PMS.. but i think, this is the worst PMS ever.. i couldnt stand people bugging me. aaaaaargh.. I took the day off today, because WRJ is due for service. we went together to the SC this time, and sent him to his office. At least i dont have to wait for someone to pick me up!

now? i plan to go get myself tudung. yes. i hope i will get better soon enough. i couldnt stand being like a madwoman in the house. i have this Dont-come-near-me look. and i hate it! aku xtau ape yg aku hanginkan sangat. semua benda salah for yesterday, today, maybe tomorrow! arghhh!

TT Persona Eastern Region

Terus sambung from the previous post.. Selepas 2 jam ber'shopping' di East Coast Mall, kami bergerak ke 'Benteng' untuk satu perjumpaan ahli-ahli Kelab Persona *hati tidak puas bershopping lagi sebenarnya.. We were there at 2pm sharp as promised. But cant expect much coz many of them are from KT and there were a few from Keratong. Jauh2.. We were the first to arrive, obviously. And they arrived 1 by 1. The last person, arrived at 3.15 i guess.. So seperti biasa, adegan menyusun kereta.. exchanging of ideas.. how to modify their cars.. where to get cheap parts and of course sesi suai kenal.. Huhuhu..

Benteng di Kuantan

Kami, para isteri tukang ambil gamba. The weather was fine. Sunny, windy and alittle bit Hot. but it was good. We headed to fahmi's house in Indera Mahkota, and belasah Nasi minyak. Yummy.. yummy.. Mujur la ada rase malu didalam diri ini, kalau tidak.. memang dibelasah 2 atau mungkin 3 round. huhuh.. selepas semua kekenyangan, they continued taking pictures and rearranging their cars.. we headed back to town a 2 rounds of bowling.. selepas itu, kami semua pulang. yg mane balek terengganu, ke terengganu la.. obviously.. dan seterusnya.. since i am abit tired to even think of a proper sentence.. Shopping in Kuantan

I have always enjoyed going back to Kuantan, my grandmother's place. Kuantan, to me is 'mendamaikan'. We can see the sea from the balcony of the house. Masa kecik-kecik dulu, there were very few shopping centers available. Then, Bandar Kuantan was the 'in-thing'. Traffic was forever bad especially during public holidays and on fridays. Later on, they 'renovated' bandar kuantan. They widened the roads, and they built more shopping centers. 10 years ago, Megamall was the hottest thing in town. Suma berpusu-pusu pergi Megamall. Then, the shops were not interesting. They have McDs, KFC, and the best thing is.. Vincci.. huhuhu.. But i guess that was all i remember about megamall. A few years back, Starbucks was opened in Megamall.. *but i am not a big fan, really.. So, whenever we go back to Kuantan, its either we stay home or we go to the beach. yeah.. Now that i'm married, i feel that husband too has to love Kuantan as much as i do. But because of time constraints, we havent really had the chance to stay longer that 1 night in Kuantan.

A few weeks back, i said to husband that i wanna go back to kuantan. He said, okay. i said, there's a new mall in Kuantan. and its only 5 mins from my grandmothers house. The newly opened 'east coast mall'. He said, okay.. :) So, last friday, packed our bags and left for kuantan. My parents tagged along. the next morning, he said to me, 'ya, go get ready.. lets go to east coast mall' Mata masih terpisat-pisat bangun tido.. i jumped out of bed and got ready right away. my grandmother and my mom tagged along leaving my father, alone at home. huhu..

To our surprise, there were soo many things there. U name it. It is almost similar to Ikano. Maybe slightly bigger. It is alot better than the Megamall. huhu.. mestilah we shopped a bit. Since i have a lot of discount vouchers with me, so i took every opportunity to spend the cash.. we left mom and grandma at the mall and headed to 'benteng' for a small get together..

We drove back to the mall that very night *gilo hape but we went home empty handed. hahahah.. the second time around i mean. I had fun shopping in Kuantan. I mean, Kl is alot better than in Kuantan. But, for me, its good enough. Kuantan lagi happening! hehehehe.. Lagi la pening husband.. Ok y'all.. xde gamba..

Hari raya with us Part II

The second day of raya, my dad and his siblings held a mini family gathering.. I can say, it was a very successful event. Ramai sangat cousins yg datang and everyone was just so excited! They even loved our rendangs and Dodol!! ahah! Tapi, that very night, we headed back to Kuantan. My grandmother in Kuantan dah siap buat nasi dagang! huhuh.. Tapi suma org puas hati.:)



We werent able to stay longer in Kuantan coz, my bro inlaw whose wife had just given birth were already waiting. So, late saturday friday afternoon, we said our goodbyes to those in Kuantan, and headed back to Ajil. Sampai-sampai je, Ma prepared a kuali off meehun goreng! aaah. sedap. and their neighbours pulak ada barbeque. so we sent them some meehun and meratah ayam bakar. sedaps!! We stayed in Terengganu until monday. Visited my husband's grandmother who lives in Kampung Jerung, Marang. Memang rumah Papan. Dah lama xmasuk rumah papan macam tu. :) and then went to visit to his aunts' houses. best. I got a kain batik as a wedding gift. huhuhu. i have alot now and i can wear kain batik successfully! huhuhu. Played with husband's little niece, Iman. She can already walk by then. Hurmm.. rindu budak kecik tu. After spending 3 nights in Ajil, we headed back to KL on Monday afternoon. Singgah sebentar di Kuantan, again. and at 11pm, we headed back to kl. for real. hehehe.

All in all, i'd say it is one of the best raya i have ever experienced. I am Glad and most Grateful to Allah for all the blessings. Alhamdulillah. I am looking forward to many more Ramadhans and Syawal with my husband and insyaAllah, our children in the near future. ameen. So, to all those who reads my blog (kalau ada) Eid Mubarak from both of us! Sekian.

Hari Raya with Us

Hari Raya this year is different and the most meaningful Raya for me. Almaklumla.. this is my first Eid as a wife. So far, Alhamdulillah.. we had no problem in deciding whose side first for our first eid. *bukan queen control ye! Reason being is, my fathers parents are very-very old, and they are about to sell the house off after raya. Since husband has never experienced raya in Negeri Sembilan, we decided to grab the last offer! justified kan?

It was all good from the journey to Senaling to every thing that happened after that. We reached Senaling early tuesday morning. Chop2 bilik and all. the boys bergelimpangan kat luar *inc. husband. huhu.the very morning, my cousins and us helped my old grandmother prepare 3 types of rendang. He helped to jaga the rendang, went to kedai *gomok, helped maklang to clear some shrubs.. me? i helped with the rendang jugak la. Later, we went to Gedung Sri Minang in KP to get husband seluar rumah. coz i didnt pack any for him. *haku terlupa!! sempat la dia muncung kejap.:) owh and the ultimate event for the day was when all of the cucu's of Hj Basirun decided that we SHOULD have penganan or famously known as DODOL. yes.

We 'perah-ed' 5 rounds of kelapa parut, each besen containing 6 biji parutan kelapa. Imagine~~ The funny part was, husband and cousins lelaki did help too, only to be condemned by my 81 year old grandmother.."aiyooo hai.. Tangan bosar-bosar.. Santan eee manooo?!" We rolled on the floor laughing. We had a great time! The whole process to make a superb-tasting dodol took us only 4 hours. By 1 am, we were done. By 3 am, zzzzzzzzzzz........

EIDULFITR

Got up early, prepare ourselves for eid prayer. Kami memang sempat membaham ketupat dan kuah kacang, and lemang with the oooh-so sedap rendang before we went for our eid prayer. By 10, we were done, and the house was soooooo riuuuhh!! We had salam-salam and photo-taking session. Dalam gembira-gembira tu, adalah kejadian yang tidak di-ingini. My dad's DSLR fell on the floor. ooh. But, it was alot of fun. It was a happy day. that night itself, husband and i, together with our cousins, went to have char kuey teow.. after too much of lemang,rendang, kuah kacang that is. Poning palo den!

So, yesterday i became an official authorized dealer for the brand Tupperware. Yeah.
hihihi. Husband was surprised at first. *i guess that That would never cross his mind. I asked him then, "Do u give me the permission to do this?" His replied was "as long as i am your number 1 priority, of course i will allow you to do it. Jangan abaikan abang sudah.."

TT

To be honest really, meeting up with a group of total strangers can be quite scary. But, it can be quite interesting. Yesterday, husband took me to join a group of strangers whose passion are cars. Proton Persona to be exact. It was really a fun new experience for both of us.

TT or Tea Time (oops.. silap. It is Teh Tarik. Husband texted me with many exclamation marks for that!huhuhu), as what they call it, began by gathering up at Point A and then they will move in the group to Point B, or C or D (kalau ada la). Last night, we started off at McD's seksyen 22 Shah Alam. It was fun really. there were all together 50 Personas parked infront of McD's yesterday, and obviously there were more than 50 of those who attended. Bini lagi, GF lagi, Friends lagi and so on. We reached McD's Seksyen 22 at 11pm (itu yg mereka bgtau) and we were amongst the first few cars to arrive. I didnt tell you that husband did a quick minor modification to his car. The night before, we had the tyres and rims changed. And i tell you, it was all for THIS event. *you wouldnt want to show off a standard car, would you? Mereka2 ni kereta sudah bikin baek punya.



We ate McD's and had an ice-breaking session. Kenal-kenal orang sikit, borak2 and then we were all called for briefing before we move to Point B. The Mr. President pointed out all the important rules when moving in a big group. *you dont want to pose unnecessary danger to other motorists on the road, plus not many appreciate this sort of gathering. right? After the briefing, baru la nampak tuan-tuan punya kereta. Masing-masing proudly entered their cars. Macam Ayam Jantan tengah mendada kinda look. huhuhu. Funny.





There were marshalls to monitor us and to guide us to Point B. We stopped by at Dataran Shah Alam, then to Shah Alam Stadium. and lastly we headed for Sahur at Bukit Jelutong. All the cars were parked nicely. It was really an experience. we left the bunch at 3 am in the morning.



Just as we arrived home, husband said "Jom kita tukar lampu angel eye..." with a big grin.. Pulak!!

Bueeek!!

Remember i was not well earlier this week? On Monday afternoon, i started sneezing, and soon the sneezing became worse and then it was runny nose. Then, after lunch, i started having lower-back pain. I thought to myself , i needed rest, and asked for permission to go home early. Packed my stuff, asked for permission, and started walking out. Many saw me going home, and they started asking me. I said i was not well. Lower back pain, and all. The thing is, they all laughed at me. Kenape pulak gelak? orang demam, die gelak. They said, "pregnant nii!". I said, that can't be, coz i dont feel pregnant. You can actually feel u are pregnant if you really are you know. They kept telling me that. ape2 tah. So, I got 4 days of Total rest at home. Such heaven. Husband did take a day off to look after me. *padehal, dia malas nak pegi keje. huhuhu..

Came friday, i started working. I punched in at 9 am because i have to stay back until 6pm that day, so i missed the morning prayer. As i was walking to my work place, i saw the faces i last saw on monday. They came to me and started whispering at me. You guess? the thing is, words spreads like wind in my department. Suddenly, many came to me with winks and smile. All expecting 'the' answer from me. "betulkan awak pregnant?!" or "ye ke pregnant? dengar2 ari tu xsihat? pregnant ek??" Aiihhh.. I wished it is true. But no I'm not. I am not pregnant. yet.

Kadang2 stress jugak. Sebab, people expect you to get pregnant like soo soon. I am only into our second month of marriage. And people are all over me waiting for 'the' good news. It's like, that is all thats being asked these days. pregnant? yes? no? No. Susah betul. My inlaws pun xtanya gitu. If ada rezeki nanti, ada la. Siapa yang xnak anak kan? I mean, if you were to ask me if i want to get pregnant now or later, i would definitely say now. but thing is, i am not yet pregnant. hurmm. But i guess, i can still tolerate the questions. will see how far they will go with the questions. I'll take it all as du'a. Hopefully menjadi kenyataan. Ameen. hehehe..

Demam

I have been under the weather since monday. Started off with cold fever with very high temp. and now, blocked nose (annoyingly both nostrils) and dry cough. hurmmm.. tried o*xymetazoline to relief the blocked nose, didnt work though plus the dreadful dry mouth as the side effect. oohhh. help me GOD! I'm practically.. breathing through my mouth. And you know how annoying that is. I hope i will be better soon.. Plus, we will be on our way to Terengganu this friday. lagi la kene be in tip-top condition.

Tadi, i sent the car for service. Since husband is away at work, i waited for them. It didnt take them that long to get it done. i sent it in at 815. and 10am, my car is ready. Service biasa je la. Nak balek kampung! huhuhu.. okay yo..
